A New Logo & A Fresh Layout for Her Knitwear Patterns
Developed in summer 2019 is created based on consultation with the designer, Tyne. A young business, my work was her first attempt at brand development. I created a logo, stylesheet, business card , and knitwear pattern template. I saw in this brand an opportunity to expand on the dark academia influences that Tyne expressed to me as the background of her knitwear design inspiration
Tyne is an avid reader and knitter, she wanted something that reflected her two loves and hobbies. Her patterned are inspired by the auxiliary characters of the Harry Potter series as well as other fantasy series. I continue to work with Tyne on developing more interactive elements for her social media presence.
Tyne appreciated the deep purples and reds and with my help we found a perfect compliment to those colors to mix the deepness of color with the standout eyecatching nature of goldenrod. I continued this theme in the choice of her script and san serif font.
